Turner Observes Int. Women’s Day with SSHH

Turner Construction volunteers join So. Shore Habitat for Humanity to complete six homes.

Duxbury, MA – Nearly 30 volunteers from Turner Construction honored International Women’s Day on March 8 by lending a hand to complete the construction of six new South Shore Habitat for Humanity (SSHH) homes in Duxbury.

“Today we join the international community to celebrate women and their achievements,” said Evelyn Nelson, VP of development for SSHH. “We are especially grateful to the many women, community leaders, volunteers, homeowners, and donors who support Habitat’s mission to create a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.”

“We thank the Turner Construction team for contributing to our home build project in Duxbury,” said Nelson. “Corporate teams are the backbone to our building program, and we invite local companies to join us in our effort to help families in need of affordable housing.”
