TD Garden Renovation Complete

Boston – Shawmut Design and Construction recently completed a major renovation to Boston’s TD Garden, including multiple concourses, new concession offerings, and a comprehensive overhaul of Legends, a private high-end restaurant for ticket holders.

After a long summer of demolition and construction within a fully operational arena, the Shawmut team completed Phase 1 of the two-year renovation project in time for the Bruins’ home opener.

The expansive concourse renovations included eight new concession stands — each requiring electrical and mechanical updates to allow for more elaborate made-to-order food options.

The renovations span over 65,000sf of reconfigured common space that will enhance the fan experience featuring two new “Market Places” and craft beer bars. The team is in the final stages of completing the Celtics’ Sun Life Courtside Club that will be open for the Celtics’ home opener. Shawmut will revamp the seventh floor concourse over the summer of 2015.
