Boston – Suffolk hosted 30 students from three Boston-area high schools at its Roxbury headquarters during Massachusetts STEM Week for a day of learning about the role of STEM in the construction industry.

Suffolk’s Steven Burke, senior director of sustainability (left) and Matteo Batista, vice president, project executive, participated in a small group session with students.
The students – from Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury, Brockton High School, and Medford High School – learned about the various career paths available in the construction industry, including roles in sustainability, innovation and technology, through presentations and small group sessions with Suffolk leaders.
