Siemasko + Verbridge Promote Two

John Harden

Beverly, MA — Siemasko + Verbridge recently announced the promotion of John Harden and Tobin Shulman to Principals of the firm. John and Tobin will work in tandem with founders Thad Siemasko and Jean Verbridge to lead the firm’s residential, commercial, institutional, and academic design practice.

John Harden AIA, LEED AP has been with SV for seven years and oversees a majority of the firm’s commercial, institutional, and academic projects. His recent work includes new construction of the Flats at 131 Rantoul in Beverly, a new addition at the First Church in Wenham, and the new lower school at the Brookwood School.  Prior to joining Siemasko + Verbridge John held positions with Gensler, Architerra, and Kallmann McKinnell & Wood in Boston, as well as Ayers Saint Gross in Baltimore. A graduate of Syracuse University School of Architecture, John holds a Master of Architecture and was the recipient of the Syracuse University Master’s Prize, the Dean’s Citation for Excellence in Design Thesis, and the AIA Henry Adams Medal for top-ranking graduate student. He also earned a Bachelor of Art in Classics from Bowdoin College, Magna Cum Laude. 

 

Tobin Shulman

Tobin Shulman AIA, LEED AP has been with SV for twelve years and manages a majority of the private residential projects, from large new construction to smaller-scaled renovations and additions. He combines his passion for detail with his comprehensive vision of each architectural project.  He focuses on achieving excellence in aesthetics and function across a variety of styles, scales, and locations. Recent work has included new ocean-front homes, as well as renovations to historic Beacon Hill flats and elegant North Shore estates. Tobin holds a Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural Center, where he was the recipient of several awards, including the AIA Henry Adams Medal for top-ranking graduate student, the Peter Woytuk Scholarship, and the Herbert Glassman Practice Award.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s College.

The new promotions are part of the firm’s strategic plan to encourage growth while maintaining the high level of client service for which the firm is known, as well as continuing their commitment to principal-level access for all clients.
