Windsor, CT — Condyne Capital has announced plans for a redevelopment project at the former Konica Minolta building located at 500 Day Hill Road in Windsor.
The proposed mixed-use development is an adaptive reuse of a 99,480sf office building. It will feature 300 Class A, modern apartment residences alongside 19,983sf of ancillary retail and commercial space, creating a live-work-shop destination designed to meet the growing demand for housing within the greater Hartford area. The housing will include a combination of studio, one- and two-bedroom units.
Designed by Maugel Destefano Architects, 500 Day Hill Road features a partial fourth floor roof deck, perimeter walking trail, scenic pond, private balcony, garage parking, on site storage and bike storage. It will also include a pool, fitness center, pickleball, multi-purpose court, dog park and several outdoor grilling areas with lounge seating.
In addition to expanding inventory in the area, the development is anticipated to generate 110 full-time construction jobs, support local businesses, and increase tax revenue for the town. Located near major transportation corridors and employment centers, the project is intended to enhance the Day Hill Road corridor while supporting Windsor’s continued economic growth and long-term development goals.
The project has approvals in place with construction slated to begin in fall 2026.
