Renewable Energy Company Adds New Team Members

Boston – Greenvolt Power, an international renewables company that delivers 100% green power through multiple technologies across several geographies, announced that it has welcomed new team members in the Boston office that will manage the U.S. portfolio.

Ali Kchia, financial manager, is a financial and strategy management consultant with over 10 years of experience. He began his career as a financial consultant at EY, focusing on financial due diligence and transaction advisory services. He later joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he supported numerous clients on their strategic initiatives and transformation programs. At BCG, Kchia was part of its Climate, Sustainability and Social Impact team, where he managed BCG’s impact investment fund.

Davie Carr, energy resource assessment manager, is an interdisciplinary engineer with over 12 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. In 2016, he joined the design team at Nexamp and soon took on managerial responsibilities including coordinating projects in the Midwest and west of the U.S. He has been involved in bringing approximately 40 projects to Notice to Proceed (NTP) and over 25 projects to Permission to Operate (PTO).

Donald Carrillo, country manager, is a seasoned investment banker, international project developer and registered engineer with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. His experience includes leading diverse highly skilled professionals, developing and executing business plans, and finding creative and sustainable solutions for the energy and resources industries. His work experience includes serving as project manager for Texaco and asset management at the Macquarie Group.

Julia Harmatz, legal manager, is a legal professional and board director with an over 25 year career in the private and public sectors. She has cultivated expertise in complex commercial negotiations, cyber security, ransomware attack response/crisis management, policy development, and corporate governance.

Rona Hope-Murray, communications specialist, has experience in automation and process management. She began her career as an analyst for the bank tech industry, and she started her career in the renewable energy space as an analyst for one of Massachusetts’ offshore wind projects.

Sylvia Bukowski has over 10 years of professional experience in hospitality, healthcare, and end of life services, including administrative, bookkeeping, and office management. She says she has made it part of her mission to create something of lasting value at Greenvolt, and dedicate her expertise to a cause that will benefit society and give back to the planet.

As one of the first U.S. team members, Weronika Nowak, deputy country manager, has over five years of experience in the renewables industry. She began her career at one of Massachusetts’s offshore wind projects, and within a few months was promoted to a manager position. She now shifts her focus to the future of solar, storage, and onshore wind.

James Nutter, commercial manager, has over five years of experience consulting for various energy industry participants. His experience includes advising generation asset owners and investors as a coauthor of publications covering renewable energy and carbon emissions markets at an energy market research and consulting firm. At Greenvolt, Nutter brings his expertise in renewable energy economics and policy to accelerate the commercialization of the company’s renewable projects across its U.S. footprint.
