Portland Firm Adds Three to Board of Directors

Portland, ME – Woodard & Curran Board of Director’s Chair Doug McKeown  announced the recent election of Patricia Taylor-Woodyard, Reyad Fezzani, and David Sweeney to the Board of Directors.

These external members were voted on by the firm’s senior principals at the 2022 Annual Stockholders meeting. Each external director will serve on the Board beginning in July.

Taylor-Woodyard brings leadership experience in operational profit and loss roles, sales growth roles, and  program /technology leadership roles creating, building, and leading teams to achieve business objectives. She understands the importance of the firm’s private ownership model, while also carrying expertise in performance-focused operation, private sector strategic client development, and the environmental consulting model.

Fezzani is the chair and CEO of Regenerate Power, which owns and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects. Prior to co-founding Regenerate Power, Fezzani held various executive leadership roles at BP, including chief executive of BP Solar, overseeing the operations of global solar manufacturing plants, as well as the development, construction, and operation of solar and wind farms in the United States, Europe, India, and China.

David Sweeney is the current CEO and president of RS&H, a national architecture, engineering, and consulting firm focused on aviation, aerospace, defense, financial, healthcare, science, and transportation sectors. His experience with a similar employee-owned business model, board governance, and leadership, will serve the firm well in terms of strategic over-site, planning, and positioning for the future.
