Lincoln, RI— Pare Corporation announced the recent promotions in its civil, geotechnical, and transportation divisions.

David McCombs, P.E., has been promoted to senior project engineer. He joined Pare’s civil division as a senior engineer three years ago with 20 years of industry experience.  He specializes in structural design services, and has served as the project manager on numerous structural, site/civil and construction-related projects. 

David Matheson, P.E., has been promoted to senior project engineer in the geotechnical division.  He joined Pare in 1998, and has been instrumental to the analysis and design of many bridge projects including the Central Bridge in Barrington, and the Providence I-195 relocation project, as well as work for portions of the Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement Program for the Narragansett Bay Commission, and numerous dams throughout New England.

Samuel Lopes, P.E., has been promoted to project engineer in the transportation division. He has 16 years of professional experience, 14 of them at Pare where he has been involved in the design of roadway improvements, traffic and parking studies, and bike path designs throughout Rhode Island.  He also provides on-site construction observation services as a resident engineer.

Eric Silva, P.E., has been promoted to project engineer in the transportation division.  He joined Pare  in 2011. Silva specializes in bridge inspections, analysis and design of superstructure & substructure components, bridge load ratings, material quantity, and cost estimates.

David Magnano has been promoted to senior engineer in the civil division. Since he joined Pare in 2015, he has served on a wide range of projects including building analysis & design, structural load ratings, and building surveys. He is experienced in the preparation of survey reports, construction documents, construction administration services, and pre- and post-construction surveys.
