Rumford, RI – New England Construction is pleased to announce the hiring of Art Caron as Vice President of Operations. Art has 26 years of experience in the construction industry, including time as an Estimator, Project Manager, Project Director, General Manager, and most recently, Regional Manager. Art’s extensive experience throughout New England includes projects of all sizes and complexities, within major markets such as Commerical, Institutional, Industrial, Pharmaceutical,
Biotechnonolgy and Microelectronics.

As a member of the New England Construction Executive Management Team, Art will assist in setting long term objectives for the organization as well as help define operational strategy and objectives as well as resource recruiting and deployment. In addition to overseeing projects for select clients, Art’s focus will be to provide oversight,guidance and structure to our Project Directors/Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers.
Art is a graduate of the Univeristy of Rhode Island. He holds his BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and has attended the Best Practice of Management program at Brown Univeristy. Additionally, Art has completed numerous certification programs including; safety leadership, construction law, employment law, and public speaking.
