Whitman MA – Mutual Bank has acquired the landmark Saftler property located at 342 Bedford Street (Route 18), CEO Glen S. White announced.
White said that the Bank’s management team and Board of Directors will study the best possible use of the property, which could possibly include a Mutual Bank presence on the site.
He did not offer a timetable for a final decision regarding the property but added, “Regardless of what final plans we develop for the Bedford Street property, our main office at 570 Washington Street will continue to be available to serve our many customers who visit this location.”
