Merger Expands Architecture Firms’ National Footprint

Portsmouth, NH – Market Square Architects, PLLC, a private architecture firm with locations in New Hampshire and Austin, Texas, and Aesh Design Architects, a firm located in St. Louis, Mo. and Nashville, Tenn., recently announced their merger. The combined company will operate as Market Square Architects (MSA), and will be led by Adam Wagner, AIA and Robert Harbeson, AIA.

Founded in 2016 by Adam Wagner and Rob Harbeson, Market Square Architects specializes in multi-family housing, senior living, industrial, education, healthcare, custom residential, and retail. Representatives of MSA say the company is committed to serving their clients through collaborative efforts to achieve project goals, and that this approach has helped the firm build a loyal client base and fueled tremendous growth over the past six years.

Adding the team from Aesh Design to the MSA team creates a partnership that will help the company remain diverse through a wealth of project experience.  The merger will increase the ability to serve clients’ needs, broaden the portfolio and expand the organization’s national footprint. Aesh currently operates out of St. Louis but was founded in Nashville. The firm has established a presence in the Midwest with projects spanning multi-family, mixed-use, custom single-family and retail sectors. The newly merged firm will remain headquartered in Portsmouth while working collaboratively across offices in Austin and St. Louis.

The St. Louis location will operate as Aesh Design, a Division of Market Square Architects, PLLC and Patrick Weber, AIA will join as the newest director in the company.
