Scarborough, ME – Landry/French Construction, a Maine commercial contractor, announced the completion of the new 53,000sf public safety building in Scarborough.
Located on town-owned land adjacent to the town hall and bordered by U.S. Route 1 and Sawyer Road, the new building houses police, fire, emergency medical services, and emergency dispatch.
A community room serves as both a training classroom as well as a public meeting room for the community.
The new building is designed for a 40-year lifespan and will accommodate the growth and public safety needs over the next 25 years. It replaces a 17,000sf building nearby on Route 1.
