Billerica, MA – Vantage Builders, Inc. announced that it completed a renovation project for Lutronic at its U.S. headquarters at 19 Fortune Drive in Billerica. Lutronic specializes in laser and energy-based systems for medical aesthetics.
The approximately 20,000sf project included work in the building’s lobby, clinical space on the first floor and office space on the second floor. An important factor in the project was that the Lutronic team needed to maintain occupancy. The Vantage team worked to reduce construction noise and shutdowns to minimize disruption to Lutronic’s employees.
“The Vantage Builders team did a tremendous job updating our office and clinical space, creating a more inviting work environment for our valued employees,” said Michael Palumbo, vice president of Global Service, Lutronic. “The new lobby is welcoming and reflects the positive work being done on behalf of our clients and their patients.”
For the lobby, the Vantage team rebuilt a spiral staircase, refinishing the railings and steel stringers and recladding the steps with new tile. A moss wall was added behind the spiral to create a focal point of the lobby for visitors and employees, and new lighting was added to accentuate the space.
The Vantage team expanded Lutronic’s clinical space on the first floor, converting former warehouse space into three offices, a large conference room, a kitchenette and a sitting area for clinic visitors. The entire second floor was renovated, including 15 new offices, a training room, conference room, a collaboration huddle room, and cubicles.
The project team also included Ebbrell Architecture + Design, RMF Engineering and JLL Project & Development Services.
