Cambridge, MA – HMFH Architects recently announced that Senior Associate Chin Lin, AIA, LEED® AP, has been named to the Illuminating Engineering Society of Boston’s (IES) Board of Managers. Chin joins the Boston and Rhode Island section, and will support the organization’s mission to communicate information on all aspects of good lighting practices to its members, the lighting community, and consumers.
The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) is the recognized technical authority on illumination. For over 100 years, it has utilized a variety of programs, publications, and services to educate its members and the public. Chin’s appointment will enable him to apply his experiences as HMFH’s Green Resources Manager to IES Boston’s programming. His background includes identifying ultra-efficient lighting systems for HMFH projects like the Brookline Town Hall in Brookline, Mass.
