From traditional civil engineering and land surveying services to 3D laser scanning and modeling, LandTech has completed numerous residential, commercial, institutional, and municipal projects over its 25 year history, all while remaining at the forefront of technology.

Its advanced 3D capabilities have resulted in recent landmark projects/clients including the city of Boston Parcel 25, Assembly Square, Boston College Athletics (turf fields), Pease Air Force Base, University of Massachusetts (Lowell campus), Lowell Wastewater Treatment Facility, Haverhill Water Treatment Plant, and the city of Waterbury, Conn. new Department of Public Works facility, among others.

“Twenty-five years in this industry has taken LandTech from traditional pen and paper survey and engineering techniques to today’s technology driven services that deliver the most accurate information and designs in less time,“ said Chris Lorrain, founder and president of LandTech Consultants, Inc.   “LandTech has grown in parallel with the industry at a nice steady pace that has enabled us to retain the best engineering and survey staff while investing in the tools and technologies that keep our services in high demand throughout New England and now in other parts of the country.”

“Actively seeking to stay ahead of the curve in this industry has become part of the fabric of the company,” continued Lorrain.  “To that end we have been delivering our 3-D laser scan and modeling services to the A/E/C community for several years now as the industry is just catching up to us.   The use of 3-D laser scanning and technology in commercial architecture is fast becoming the de facto standard for creating existing condition plans and we are proud to have been at the forefront.”

“We are enjoying taking a moment to reflect back on the last 25 years, “said Lorrain.  “On behalf of LandTech Consultants, I would like to express our gratitude to our clients, partners, friends and family for their support and roles in bringing LandTech to this notable moment in our company history.”
