Karrie Kratz
Glastonbury, CT – Gilbane Building Company recently announced that Karrie Kratz has been named to Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
Kratz started her career with Gilbane 17 years ago as an accounts payable clerk. As one of the youngest vice presidents within the company, she manages field operations for Gilbane’s Connecticut Business Unit, handling a portfolio of $200 million in construction contracts.
In addition to her extraordinary career advancements and raising her two young daughters, Kratz is a Mentor Committee Member for the National Association of Professional Women in Construction (PWC of CT). She also spends many hours focusing on the educational market sector of the industry in which she works to create programs within local communities that offer career options, educational and mentoring opportunities to young adults.
