Jewett Raises Funds in ‘March for Babies’

Raymond, NH-based Jewett Construction Company, Inc. participated this past Sunday, May 31 in the “March for Babies-Seacoast.”

Team Jewett was comprised of Jon Warner, Chrissy Buttrick, Jason Mayeu and his wife Karen, and twin daughters Adison and Zoey. The team walked alongside friends, business partners and even the 2014 March of Dimes National Ambassador, seven-year-old Aidan Lamothe, and his mother Jill Teeters. All made the three-mile walk through the streets of Portsmouth to raise awareness for March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. Jewett Construction team members participated in March for Babies walks in Portsmouth and Manchester in 2015, raising awareness and over a $1,000 between the two events.

“Volunteering for the March of Dimes allows us all to give back,” notes Jason Mayeu, Jewett Construction’s Director of Marketing, who has been involved with the organization since 2008 and was recently appointed to its Board. “Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small, and often very sick. We wanted to do something to help. Our team’s participation brings awareness and funds to much needed research and programming.”
