Hayes Joins BOND as VP

Everett, MA – Everett-based construction firm, BOND (Bond Brothers), welcomes industry veteran Frank Hayes to the company as Vice President.

Everett, MA – Everett-based construction firm, BOND (Bond Brothers), welcomes industry veteran Frank Hayes to the company as Vice President.

As Vice President, Hayes will work with the company leadership to set strategic focus and implement various processes and programs to ensure BOND reaches its long-term goals. Additionally, Hayes will be involved in many aspects of the day-to-day operations, offering input and strengthening the design and project delivery processes.

Hayes joins BOND from Shawmut Design & Construction where he served as Vice President in the Academic department, the largest revenue-producing group at the firm. At Shawmut, he oversaw every aspect of the business, from bidding and winning projects right through to the execution of the work. Prior to Shawmut, Frank was with Harvard Business School in a succession of roles from Senior Project Manager, Director of Construction to Chief of Operations, and spent several years at William A. Berry & Sons, Inc. as Project Manager.

At Harvard, he oversaw the implementation of the “Master Plan,” which included several new buildings and multiple renovations, totaling over $200 million in cost. Frank was responsible for a multitude of tasks in his position as Chief of Operations at HBS, including facilities, food service, security, housekeeping, planning and construction. At Berry, he worked in the healthcare division with Brigham and Women’s Hospital Center for Women and Newborns; several BWH satellite centers were among his many projects.

Hayes received an AS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lowell, and from there continued his education at the Harvard Business School in the Program for Management Development. An active member of the industry and community, Frank is a member of Society of College and University Planning; Corporate Member of Fenway Alliance; Member of Association of Independent Colleges & Universities of Massachusetts; Architect Selection Committee member for Department of Community & Housing Development; and serves on the board of Rebuilding Together Boston. A native of Arlington, MA, Frank Hayes currently resides in Wakefield, MA.
