Salem, MA – Bioengineering Group, a woman-owned earth science and engineering consulting and design firm headquartered in Salem announced that company President Wendi Goldsmith was named CEO and William (Bill) Hall was appointed President. The appointments are the culmination of a planned course of action that will continue to take the company closer to its strategic vision.

Hall has more than 20 years of experience focused on developing business opportunities and growing businesses, both organically and by acquisition, domestically and abroad. Prior to joining Bioengineering Group, he served as Vice President of Nova Technologies, an environmental services firm.

“The technical side of my career has encompassed geology and hydrogeology, as well as geotechnical, civil, and environmental engineering.” said Hall. “Bioengineering Group is rapidly growing in the areas of sustainable design and construction using a broad approach of integrated science and engineering, and is a great company in which to apply the technical, business development, and managerial expertise that I can provide.”

Goldsmith founded the firm in 1992 and has successfully led it from a company of one employee to over 70. She will continue to play an active role, focusing her time and attention on developing and refining sustainable methods to apply on projects, maintaining key industry and government relationships.
