Ground Broken on Tyngsborough Middle School

Tyngsborough Middle School groundbreaking

Tyngsborough, MA – Officials from Tyngsborough Public Schools, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Town of Tyngsborough joined students, educators, and representatives from Leftfield, JCJ Architecture, and Fontaine Bros. to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the 112,784sf Tyngsborough Middle School.

The facility was designed by JCJ Architecture, with LeftField serving as owner’s project manager and Fontaine Bros. as construction manager. It is being constructed between the existing middle school and high school, and will replace the existing middle school and attached gymnasium built in 1967.

The new state-of-the-art middle school is designed to allow middle school programming for teachers and students to be located within their academic teams and create flexible grade-level neighborhoods that contain synergistic collections of agile classrooms, extended learning areas, and small group meeting rooms. The new facility will continue to support the current theatre program with a new black box theater.
