Acton, MA – Geosyntec Consultants has announced it recently hired two senior professionals to expand the firm’s practice in the northeast related to the management of contaminated sediments.
Alan Fowler has over 25 years of experience focused on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sediment. He is a nationally known expert in the field and has been responsible for developing the technical and regulatory strategies for many high liability sediment sites.
His sediment experience includes Boston Harbor and New Bedford Harbor in Massachusetts and several other very large sites around the country and in Canada.
Helen Douglas also with over 25 years of experience focused on the assessment and remediation of aquatic sites with environmentally persistent chemicals.
Much of her experience includes work on sites with sediments impacted by PCBs and heavy metals, evaluating dredging and capping alternatives.
