GEI Hires Eight Senior Professionals

Boston, MA – GEI Consultants, Inc. announced today that it has hired eight senior professionals in several of its offices throughout the country. Joining the firm are Christopher Bradley, P.E.; Mike Carosotto, P.E., CFM, PMD; Ying-Kit Choi, PhD, P.E.; Scott Keating; Doug Laiho, P.E.; John McGrane, P.E.; Edward O’Rourke; and Chia Tan, PhD, P.E.

Edward O’Rourke joins GEI as its New England Region business development leader. He has more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in sales management and business development in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Based out of GEI’s Boston, Massachusetts office, he is responsible for helping the firm expand its relationships in the New England region with additional national responsibilities related to vertical construction. Mr. O’Rourke comes to GEI from a Boston-based construction management firm where he spent the last seven years as director of business development. He also owned an environmental consulting firm that was acquired by Dames & Moore. A graduate of Long Island University CW Post Campus, Mr. O’Rourke is an engaged member of numerous professional associations including the Boston Society of Architects (BSA); the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA); CoreNET New England; the Environmental Business Council; the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) Boston Chapter; the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) Boston Chapter and the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP).
