Boston, MA – Environments at Work, New England’s premier Haworth office furniture dealer, announced today that it has completed the procurement and installation of furniture for Dynamics Research Corporation’s [NASDAQ: DRCO] new corporate headquarters in Andover, Massachusetts.

A leading provider of mission-critical technology management services and solutions for government programs, Dynamics Research Corporation’s (DRC) new 70,000 square-foot headquarters was completed in December 2009. With 240 employees, the facility includes 155 workstations, 85 offices and eight conference rooms.

“The key to the success of this fast-track project was for the entire team to come together quickly and to coordinate our activities very efficiently,” said Barbara Hackett, account manager for Environments at Work. “We were involved with product selection, space planning, specifications and finish selections. Our focus was on providing the highest level of service to DRC and we were able to successfully complete the delivery and installation within just two weeks.”

The selected furniture provides highly functional work environments for DRC staff, complements the new headquarters’ aesthetics, and meets the client’s budget requirements. The Haworth Compose System was used to create a flexible work environment in support of employees’ individual work styles. The Compose system is highly durable, with details such as extruded aluminum trim that will withstand multiple reconfigurations.

Seating was provided using the Haworth Zody, a crisply designed task chair with a patent-pending asymmetrical lumbar support system. Scientifically-engineered for comfort and support, the Zody is the first task chair to be endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association. It is also environmentally-sensitive and is certified as a Cradle to Cradle™ Gold Product by MBDC (McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry, LLC). Additional furniture products include Orlando laminate casegoods, HBF, National and OFS.

The project architect was Spagnolo, Gisness & Associates, Inc. (Boston, Mass.), and the general contractor was Chapman Construction (Newton, Mass.).
