Engineering Firm Announces Promotion, New Hire

Keith J. MacDonald

Lincoln, RI – Pare Corporation announced that Keith J. MacDonald, P.E. has been promoted to vice president in the Transportation Division, and that Todd Turcotte, P.E., has returned to the firm as vice president of the Waterfront/Marine Group in the Geotechnical Division.

MacDonald started his professional career at Pare in 1998. Over the past 25 years, he has been instrumental in the success of many RIDOT and municipal contracts with his design and management efforts, according to representatives of the firm. In addition to his dedication to projects and clients, he has been involved in many professional organizations, including the Westport Bike/Walking Path Committee, the South Coast Bikeway Alliance, and the Massachusetts Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board.

MacDonald is a Registered Professional Engineer in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In addition, he is a Baystate Roads Scholar.

Todd Turcotte

Representatives of the firm say that, through his work history, Turcotte has demonstrated a strong skill set in land development, negotiations, operations management, procurement and coastal engineering. He brings over 29 years of experience working on a variety of marine/waterfront, civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering projects.

Turcotte first joined Pare in 1997 as a project manager. After leaving Pare, he worked for several other firms, most recently as a division manager for another company’s waterfront/marine division. His experience includes the design of commercial terminals, petroleum storage facilities, ports and marinas, piers, bulkheads, and retaining walls, and conducting structural inspections/preparing evaluation reports for industrial waterfront facilities, bridges, buildings, and various other structures.
