Hudson, MA – The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) has named BSC Group as a 2021 Bronze Engineering Excellence Award winner for their work on the Downtown Hudson Rotary and Streetscape.
As a former industrial town known for shoe manufacturing, Hudson faced many familiar challenges such as reduced foot traffic, inadequate parking, and competition from nearby commercial centers. Using its rotary as a centerpiece for large-scale complete streets reconstruction, the town leveraged a variety of funding sources to create a vibrant, functional downtown that accommodates pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles alike.
The 2021 Engineering Excellence Awards were recently announced and will be celebrated at the virtual ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence and Awards Gala. The awards celebrate innovation, ingenuity, and excellence in engineering achievement.
