CT – Derrick Diggs, Vice President of Diggs Construction, was recognized as the MBE Honorary Co-Chair at this year’s Awards Gala on April 28th, by the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council. Derrick presented the Advocate of the Year Award to Cheryl Clarke of Northeast Utilities. At a special table designated by the GNEMSDC, Derrick was seated beside Deborah Coombs of The Walt Disney Company, and the MBE Honorary Co-Chair and President of the CT
State Lottery, Anne Noble. Dr. Fred McKinney, President of the GNEMSDC, presented an honorary
plaque to both Anne Noble and Derrick Diggs.
