Cornelison Appointed DCAM Commissioner

Boston – The Executive Office for Administration and Finance announced the appointment of Carole Cornelison as commissioner of the State’s Division of Capital Management (DCAM).

Boston – The Executive Office for Administration and Finance announced the appointment of Carole Cornelison as commissioner of the State’s Division of Capital Management (DCAM). She is replacing Commissioner Dave Perini who announced his retirement in December.

Cornelison has had a long career working in community, housing and economic development. She served as director of the Cincinnati Girls’ Club and executive director of Neighborhood Development Corporation, a local trade association for non-profit community-based development organizations. She also served as municipal manager for two suburban communities in Ohio.

In 2004 Cornelison joined the city of Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development. She served as deputy director of Homeowner Services, implementing new programs that helped low and moderate income families become homeowners.

Cornelison serves on the Board of Directors of three Boston-based non-profit agencies: Casa Esperanza; Victory Programs; and YouthBuild Boston.
