City Point Partners Names Hemphill as VP of Construction Services

Boston  – City Point Partners today announced that Paul F. Hemphill, CCM, a 30-year veteran of the construction services industry, has joined the company as its Vice President of Construction Services.

In his new role, Hemphill will head up City Point Partners’ burgeoning Owner’s Project Management (OPM) practice as well as oversee the company’s Construction Services Group and team of Resident Engineers and Inspectors.

 “We are honored to have someone with Paul’s remarkable knowledge and expertise on our team,” said Colleen Moore, president and founder of City Point Partners. “Paul is a respected leader and mentor in this industry and his insight will be invaluable to our expanding OPM practice.”

Throughout his career, Hemphill has managed an array of multi-million dollar projects from schools, libraries and healthcare facilities to affordable housing developments, large commercial sites and luxury hotels.

Some of Hemphill’s projects of note include the $88 million project to cap the City of Quincy’s landfill and transform it into a 350-acre golf course and recreation complex.  He served as Project Construction Director for the $31 million Ashburnham JR Briggs Elementary School.  Hemphill also managed construction oversight of the $16M renovation and addition to the City of Quincy Thomas Crane Library, a nationally registered historical landmark. He was also at the helm of the $16 million Needham Public Library renovation, which won the “Project of the Year” award from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).

Hemphill, a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), is also an award-winning past president and current board member of the CMAA as well as an adjunct professor of Construction Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
