Christine Mosholder Recognized as “Rising Star”

Boston – Furniture Trust (TFT), a non-profit organization committed to providing alternatives for the reuse of excess office furnishings

Boston – Furniture Trust (TFT), a non-profit organization committed to providing alternatives for the reuse of excess office furnishings, announced that founder Christine Mosholder has been named one of Babson College’s 2011 “Rising Star Entrepreneurs.” Sher is also a founder and partner of Fort Point Project Management, a provider of real estate project management and relocation planning services.
The annual awards program recognizes local business leaders who have successfully launched an entrepreneurial venture and implemented measures to grow awareness about their organization’s mission.
After witnessing the large quantities of useable furnishings that often remained after a client’s move, Mosholder created TFT to prevent unwanted furniture from ending up in a landfill. As a socially and environmentally responsible way to dispose of excess office furniture, TFT has provided furniture or cash gifts from furniture sales to many schools and charities including Boston Public Schools, Roxbury Youthworks, the United Way, and several Boys and Girls Clubs throughout Massachusetts.
