Winchester, MA – Wise Construction has recently completed the new space for Boston Medical Center’s Family Medicine Department.
Serving as a primary care facility for individuals and families throughout all stages of their lives, this ambulatory space provides primary care services, immunizations, sports physicals, behavioral health services and women’s health services to the community. The architect and engineer on the project was SmithGroupJJR.
As a part of BMC’s on-going Clinical Campus Redesign projects, the department needed to move into this new space on Melnea Cass Boulevard as soon as possible, which gave Wise Construction just ten weeks to complete the twenty exam rooms, nurse’s stations, waiting area, restrooms and all associated infrastructure work.

To complete the project on-schedule without compromising quality, the team used a continuous workflow, starting from the east side of the building and working towards the west.
