Beaver Country Day School
Brookline, MA – Erland mobilized onsite to begin construction of Beaver Country Day School’s new Research + Design (R+D) Center. This project involves the construction of an additional floor for classrooms and major interior and exterior renovations to multiple buildings that surround a new landscaped courtyard. This is the third building project that the company has performed on the Beaver campus.
In meeting the current educational trends for its students, Beaver is transforming its library into a research + design center with areas for workshops, research, and collaboration. The architect, NADAAA, Inc. of Boston, is bringing a new flow to the buildings, encouraging collaboration, while opening the spaces to the outdoors with new curtain wall systems that invite the natural light.
The school and its summer camp will remain in operation throughout the 15-month construction period.
