Boston – SGA, the Boston and New York City-based national award-winning architecture, interior design, planning, branded environments and virtual design, and construction practice, announced that the firm has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2021.
The list honors the businesses that have not only found a way to be resilient in the past year, but also turned those challenges into impact making processes. This year’s Most Innovative Companies list features 463 businesses from 29 countries. This is the second time SGA has been recognized as one of the most innovative companies after the firm debuted on this coveted list in 2018.
A representative of Fast Company commented that SGA’s approach to architecture has become vital in the age of the pandemic, adding that SGA has applied some of the lessons of the pandemic to create spaces with movable cabinetry and modular mechanical systems where researchers and scientists can quickly adapt to changing conditions and global needs, buildings that are ready for whatever scientific challenges lie ahead.
To coincide with the issue launch, Fast Company hosted its first-ever Most Innovative Companies Summit on March 9-10. This virtual, multi-day summit is designed to celebrate the Most Innovative Companies in business, provide an early look at major business trends, and offer the inspiration and practical insights on what it takes to innovate in 2021.
