Acoustics Company Welcomes Three

Cambridge, MA – Acentech announces the recent expansion of its Technology Group. Frank Scala, RCDD, PSP, CTS, principal; Benjamin Thirakul, CTS-D, associate principal; and Whit Love, CTS, consultant, have recently joined Acentech to strategically broaden the firm’s consulting capabilities in audiovisual systems design, security systems design, technology advisory services, and smart buildings.

Scala is a building technology consultant with 24 years of experience in hands-on system integration and design consulting with a specialization in security systems and smart building solutions. He consults on initial technology planning and assessment, managing all design phases including budgeting, construction administration, and commissioning.

Thirakul is an audiovisual systems designer with 10 years of experience in planning and designing systems for a wide variety of spaces including educational facilities, courthouses, mixed-use commercial buildings, museums, casinos, athletic facilities, as well as community and performing arts. He is responsible for project management and documentation throughout the entire life cycle of a project, from concept design to commissioning once the installation is complete.

Love is an audiovisual and sound systems designer with a background in operating, designing, and deploying AV experiences for concert venues, convention centers, worship spaces, and educational facilities. He collaborates with Acentech’s clients on a wide range of projects, including the development of audiovisual system design documentation and system performance testing.
