Malden, MA – Lynnfield-based construction manager/general contractor Federal Construction Corp. (FCC) recently began construction of phase three interior finishes on a 13,440sf residential building located in Malden, MA.

Malden, MA – Lynnfield-based construction manager/general contractor Federal Construction Corp. (FCC) recently began construction of phase three interior finishes on a 13,440sf residential building located in Malden, MA.

The developer, “501 Eastern Avenue, LLC / CRES, LLC” of Lynnfield, hired FCC in late 2008 to undertake Phase One of the project, which consisted of the exterior site preparations and the
buildings foundation footprint. FCC continued to work with the developer on phase two of the project which consisted of the buildings structure and exterior finishes.

501 Eastern Avenue owner David Stone stated that his primary purpose in undertaking this project was to provide the community with a high quality affordable product in which the neighborhood and community would take pride.

The project is schedule to be completed in the summer of 2010.

Construction consists of three floors with 15 units, a lobby, elevator, onsite parking, laundry and trash removal facilities. The exterior shell of the building is composed of EIFS, fiber cement lap and shingle shack siding with azek trim, alum clad windows and sliding doors by Mirra.

The interiors will be completely finished with wood trim, flooring and wall finishes and ready for move-in. All common areas will be finished with wood trim, lighting, wall finishes and flooring and will consist of a center mail box located within the lobby area.
