A graduate from Wentworth Institute of Technology’s 2011 civil engineering technology program, Latoya Baskin is a scheduler in AECOM’s Boston office with over nine years of relevant experience.

Latoya was featured in New England Real Estate Journal’s “Women in Construction Spotlight” in March 2018, a 2017 honoree for Women@Wentworth: Celebrating 45, highlighted in the Bay State Banner for her notable project with the Guscott Towers in Roxbury, and recognized at the ONEin3 Council’s 2015 Impact Awards ceremony as one of “the young adult leaders who are doing outstanding work to improve the city of Boston for all residents.”

Latoya’s advice/key to success is a quote by Maya Angelou: “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.”  Latoya’s advice is, “Once you find your passion, take a proactive interest in your own progress and own it. You might have to work harder but remember you are an essential part to the team: A diverse team is a successful team.”

She hopes to continue to inspire others and encourage them not to put themselves in a box created by society.
