Submitted by LaRosa Building Group

Kyma Ganzer, LEED AP, is project manager at LaRosa Building Group. Her career in the AEC industry began after transitioning from the residential real estate investment businesses in 2007. Although she held a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University, she went back to school and earned a Master of Science in construction management from Central Connecticut State University and LEED AP BD+C accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council while working full time for a general contractor.  During this time, she also worked her way up from assistant in the accounting office to project manager.

Since joining LaRosa Building Group in 2012, Kyma has managed a variety of projects ranging in size and complexity, to include her current endeavor, a $25 million new construction project in Connecticut.  Owners, architects, subcontractors and coworkers alike value the professionalism, dedication, integrity and quality of work she brings to each project, and she continues to challenge herself to gain experience.  Already a leader in the office, Kyma also takes the time to help newcomers with LaRosa Building Group’s policies, procedures and project software as well as to mentor interns and junior project managers.

She is inspired by the evolving landscape and culture of the AEC industry and strives to always leave a positive impression with those she encounters.  Kyma is the proud recipient of the 2019 Professional Women in Construction CT Chapter’s Rising Star Award, and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  When she is not in the office, the field, or her home office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and fur babies.
