Women In Construction

WIC Podcast Coming Soon

Boston -Touchplan  announces that it has entered into a marketing partnership with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

This collaboration will focus on Touchplan and NAWIC leveraging their common missions to foster open-mindedness, connection, and collaboration in the construction industry in order to make people’s lives better. As a result, the goal is to empower each organization’s respective brands, messaging, and missions through a series of marketing content, education and events, while also strengthening and amplifying the voices of women in the construction industry.

The first project as part of this initiative will be to launch a new podcast entitled ‘Build. Lead. Succeed.’ This show is dedicated to sharing real stories and conversations with women in the construction industry.

Hosted by Angela Highland, project manager for Ironrock Commercial Construction, and produced by Touchplan, the podcast will cover topics that women face every day on job sites, ranging from workplace harassment prevention and the importance of setting workplace boundaries to ill-fitting PPE, sexist remarks on the job, poor port-o-john options, and more.

The first official episode will launch on August 3. Additional episodes are planned to air on the first Tuesday of every month and will be hosted on The Touchplan Podcast Network on Soundcloud which connects to almost all podcast channels including Apple Podcasts and Google Play.

In addition to the podcast launch, Touchplan will be contributing its point of view to the program at the upcoming NAWIC Annual Conference from August 11-14.
