Waltham Moody Street Fire Station Honored

Cranston, RI – Saccoccio & Associates Architects announced that their recently completed Waltham Moody Street Fire Station historical renovation project has been named a winner of the Firehouse’s 2021 Station Design Awards.

This is the second time the firm has earned a Firehouse Design award. In 2018 they were awarded a Silver Award for the new  Brewster, Mass. fire station.

The 8th Annual SDA national winners were selected from a field of 64 entries from across the  country. Winners were selected by a panel of six judges, including fire chiefs and architects experienced in recent design and construction. Waltham Moody Street Fire Station secured the gold award in the stations over 10,000sf category. The Owner’s project manager was Habeeb & Associates, and the contractor was M. O’Connor Contracting. Mark Saccoccio led the team along with Kyle Robinson for Saccoccio & Associates Architects.
