Norwell, MA – Acella Construction Corporation recently announced that Diana Van Etten, the company’s business development manager, has joined NAIOP Massachusetts’s 2016 Charitable Events Committee.
Founded on strong government affairs advocacy, the Massachusetts chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is regarded as the premier organization and leading voice representing the interests of developers, owners, investors, and all sectors of the commercial real estate industry.
The 2016 Charitable Events Committee is led by Reesa Fischer, chief operating officer for NAIOP Massachusetts. Debbie Osheroff, director of membership and administration for NAIOP Massachusetts; Deborah Danik, chapter committee vice president with Nitsch Engineering; and Alison Powers, chapter committee assistant vice president with CBRE/New England also serve on the committee.
Acella’s portfolio of prominent work for non-profit organizations, including current projects for the South Shore YMCA and Hingham Historical Society, demonstrates Acella’s commitment to community. As a member of NAIOP, Acella will broaden its reach and impact, coordinating and participating in charitable activities for the chapter, including NAIOP’s 28th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament on June 8, 2016, benefitting Heading Home, that demonstrate NAIOP’s commitment to the community.
NAIOP Massachusetts provides strong advocacy, education, and opportunities to over 1,680 members through a powerful network. Currently, more than 30% of NAIOP Massachusetts members are women. “Partnering with NAIOP, Acella can do more to contribute to the economic well-being and sustainability of the Commonwealth – while supporting learning, networking and advancement for women in the commercial real estate industry,” said Van Etten, who oversees business development initiatives, cultivates client relationships, secures new projects, and develops and implements marketing strategies for Acella.
