The comprehensive project scope included installation of primary and emergency power, fire alarm system, lighting, and lighting control systems.

The 115,700sf field house, adjacent to Alumni Field and Conte Forum on the BC campus, houses a world-class weight room for athletes, coaches offices, a nutrition room, and a nurses station. The new, outdoor natural grass outdoor football field features outdoor lighting, a coaches booth and an electronic scoreboard.

Fellow NECA Boston contractors, Stateline Power, Boston Lightning Rod, Mass Bay Electrical, and LAN-TEL Communications also provided services on the BC Field House project.

The facility is named Fish Field House in recognition of John Fish, chairman and CEO of Suffolk Construction, who helped support the project’s funding with a leadership gift.

The T&T Electrical project team, comprised of 25 IBEW Local 103 electricians, was headed by Project Supervisor and Vice President Dan Venezia, and Field Foreman Derek Pollard. T&T began construction on the fast-track project in June 2017 and the project was completed in July 2018. The BC football team, currently ranked in the Top 20 in the nation, held its first practice at the facility on August 3.
