Natick, MA – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Robert Paul Properties, divisions of Commonwealth Realty Group, LLC, announced that it donated $101,752 in 2021 to the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer.
The funds were raised through agent and employee contributions and many fundraising activities and events. Due to its fundraising efforts, the combined entities were recognized as a top ten Sunshine Kids Foundation contributor within the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network of more than 300 brokerages.
“Commonwealth Realty Group firmly believes in giving back; it is an important part of our culture,” said Managing Partner, George Patsio. “We are honored to donate this money to the Sunshine Kids Foundation so that they may continue providing these important activities and support to children battling cancer. Meeting the kids and seeing the impact this organization has had on them and their families is incredibly heartwarming,” he said. “We are committed to continuing these critical fundraising efforts in the upcoming year.”
The Sunshine Kids Foundation was established in 1982 and provides programs and events, trips, events, in-hospital themed parties, positive group activities, and emotional support to kids throughout the country who are undergoing pediatric oncology treatment.
