Manchester, NH –  TFMoran and Eckman Construction have once again joined forces to expand the Saint Anselm College campus, this time working together on a new two-story, 9,600sf welcome center. The two firms have decades of experience working together on numerous prior projects at the campus.

This represents the 16th on-campus project for Eckman Construction, who leads the N.H.-based design/build team, which includes Dennis Mires, PA as architect, and TFMoran for surveying, civil/site design, and permitting.

The Welcome Center project, now underway, is located in the oldest part of the hilltop campus next to Alumni Hall and replaces the former school bookstore.

TFMoran engineers and landscape architects worked from the earliest stages to make the most of this prominent location in the heart of the college campus. The new building will house admissions staff and serve as the first stop for prospective students and their families.

Features include a large lobby space to welcome visitors, a presentation room, outdoor patio space, and a function room for alumni reunions, homecoming, and other community events.

Construction challenges include working within tight site limits, abutting two parking lots, academic buildings, and busy pedestrian ways of the occupied campus. Completion is anticipated in the spring.
