Teresa Wilson Receives Distinction Award

Boston – Teresa Wilson, executive principal and managing director for Steffian Bradley Architect’s (SBA) Corporate Headquarters in Boston office, was honored on September 18, 2017 with the Symposium Distinction, Individual Award at the Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo in Austin, Texas.

The Individual Award is presented to a professional in the fields of healthcare planning, design, construction and operations that has displayed leadership, vision, and passion to enhance the healing environment over their career.

Wilson has worked at SBA for the majority of her 25 year professional practice of healthcare design and planning for new and existing facilities. Wilson has served as healthcare planner for SBA and SBA’s strategic planning group Sterling Planning Alliance (Sterling), as Principal-in-Charge of healthcare projects throughout New England.

Her work represents a wide cross section of clients with over a hundred of healthcare projects including community health centers in traditionally underserved populations such as Mattapan Community Health Center, which was awarded Boston Society of Architects Healthcare Facilities Design Award, and Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program a 100 bed respite and clinic while at the same time working with Harvard University Health Services and Boston Children’s Hospital where she is currently designing an outpatient care center for children across a wide spectrum of abilities.
