Susan Poyant
New Bedford, MA – Poyant, a sign manufacturer, and branding specialist serving local, regional, and national organizations, has named Susan Poyant director of human resources & safety.
In her role, she is responsible for all human resources activity at Poyant including recruitment, career performance planning and development, employee safety, HR information systems, compensation planning, employee benefits programs and policies.
She joins Poyant with 35 years of experience as a human resources professional having started in the electrical utility industry at Eastern Utilities, then Amica Insurance, and most recently, retiring from Acushnet Company, a global golf manufacturing and sales organization.

While at Acushnet Company, Poyant held many positions within the human resources function culminating in the role of VP of total rewards with 17 staff members responsible for compensation, benefits, HR information systems, safety, health, and wellness across the global organization.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from Rivier College and has been certified by the Society of Human Resources Professional as both a compensation professional and global compensation professional.
