Chicago, IL – The first supplement to the 2016 AISC standard, Prequalified Connections for Special and Intermediate Steel Moment Frames for Seismic Applications (AISC 358-16), is available for public review until October 6, 2017.
This document adds a new prequalified connection — the SSDA Slotted Web moment connection — and expands the scope of prequalification for the SidePlate moment connection in Chapter 11.
