Boston – Suffolk has hired Dennis Berger as its chief culture officer. He will oversee Suffolk’s People & Culture team and will be responsible for creating a best-in-class employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. He will serve on the executive committee and report directly to Chairman and CEO John Fish.

He will work primarily from Suffolk headquarters in Boston but will have a significant presence in all the regions in which the firm operates.

Prior to joining Suffolk, Berger was a key partner in CDW Corporation’s transformational growth. In addition, he spent more than 12 years in the Pepsi system, most recently as head of U.S. human resources at PepsiAmericas, Inc.

He has a wealth of experience improving and aligning operational efficiencies with company cultures and employee engagement initiatives, and he has been instrumental in driving human resource transformations and successfully scaling innovative human resource initiatives in private and public global organizations.

“We are thrilled Dennis has joined the Suffolk family to help us strengthen the experience we provide for all our people,” said John Fish, chairman and CEO of Suffolk. “His commitment to operational efficiency and employee engagement will be an important asset as we plan for the continued growth of our operations and focus on attracting and retaining the very best talent throughout the country.”

“John has built a very special and successful organization by creating and nurturing a culture focused on enabling its team members to do their very best work each day,” said Berger. “I’m both excited and honored to join the Suffolk team and family.”
