Stantec Opens New Office in New Haven, Conn.

New Haven, CT – Design firm Stantec has relocated just a short distance from Hamden to downtown New Haven, providing a customized work environment for its growing team, plus a more central and accessible location for staff and clients alike.

The new office, centrally located on the sixth floor of 55 Church Street in Ninth Square, is just steps from the Green, City Hall, Yale and Gateway Community College with quick access to the I-95 and I-91 corridors. It’s also a short walk to New Haven’s Union Station, a hub for commuter rail and Amtrak service.

“With our new office, we’re poised for growth,” says Stantec senior principal, Gary Sorge. “We’re in a more convenient location, have direct access to local and regional transit for our clients and employees, and are excited to call a Connecticut city our new home.”

Together with their fellow Stantec colleagues in Hartford, the New Haven team focuses on landscape architecture, environmental engineering, and civil and structural engineering services for clients across the Northeast and beyond. In Connecticut, our team has designed parks, bridges, roadways, transit centers, school sites, mixed-use centers, and vital infrastructure throughout the state. The Connecticut team has also earned numerous local and international design awards, most recently for the transformation of a former tar ponds site in Sydney, Nova Scotia, into an exciting multigenerational community park.
