Laura Spressert
Boston, MA — Michael Smith, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company’s Boston office, recently announced that Laura Spressert has joined the Boston office as Vice-President of Marketing, effective immediately. Spressert will direct Avison Young’s marketing, public relations and branding efforts throughout the Greater Boston region. A longstanding industry leader, Spressert brings more than a decade of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Spressert served as Director of Marketing for Colliers International’s Boston office (formerly Meredith & Grew), where she was responsible for corporate, specialty and investment-specific marketing plans and collateral. In this role, Spressert worked closely with brokerage teams and clients to develop and execute successful go-to-market property strategies. Clients included Federal Realty Investment Trust, Equity Office and New England Development. Colliers International’s national marketing team recognized Spressert as a Best of Best Practices award winner in 2010.
The announcement follows the hiring of leading research expert Brendan Carroll as Vice-President of Research, Boston, in July.

Spressert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. She currently resides in Brookline, MA and is an active member of the Greater Boston commercial real estate community.
