Manchester, NH – The recent ribbon cutting for Southern New Hampshire University’s new $5.8 million William S. and Joan Green Center for Student Success represents another great addition to the Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) campus.

RDK Engineers worked alongside Analogue Studio LLC and provided MEP/FP engineering design services transforming the former SNHU Shapiro Library into an innovative student success center, offering more than 25,000sf of renovated space. The new center plays an important role in the success of Southern New Hampshire University students, the focus of the project.

SNHU’s new center is named to honor the legacy of the late William S. Green. Green was a loyal friend of SNHU for more than 50 years, saving the college when it hit a rough spot. Serving as Chancellor and also on the Board of Trustees, Green helped the university convert to a non-profit institution in 1968. Bill’s vision and guidance throughout the years has contributed to what Southern New Hampshire University has become today.

The new Green Center houses many important resources, including the new Deborah L. Coffin Women’s Center, Center for Community Engaged Learning, Disability Services, DeColfmacker Veteran’s Lounge, as well as ROTC, International Student Services, Academic Advising, Enrollment Operations, Diversity Initiatives, Residence Life, and an A/V studio.
