Boston – Jeffrey A. Simon recently joined Stantec’s Boston, Massachusetts, office as a senior principal. Simon brings more than 40 years of real estate development experience, with an emphasis on project development. At Stantec, Simon will bring a developer’s perspective to its Project Delivery Group, focusing on transit-oriented development, urban design, and working with governmental clients in responding to project solicitations.

He has a diverse background and proven track record as a developer and builder that has worked for both private companies and public agencies.”

 

Prior to joining Stantec, Simon served as Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Real Estate for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In that role, he merged the real estate units of the department (MassDOT) and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). In addition, he has held executive positions with Lend Lease Public Partnership’s privatized military family housing business and the Bermuda Land Development Company.  Simon holds a master’s degree in city planning from Harvard University and has completed executive education programs from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University.
